Netflix and Chill

After dinner last night I made a small bowl of popcorn and had a splash of white as I watched Criminal Minds. Then I hit the hay because I was passing out on the couch with the dogs.  I took them out for their last potty run of the night and we all went to sleep.

Fort Collins finally decided that it’s winter so the days and nights have be extra chilly which means I needed to bust out the flannel sheets.  Mmmm I love flannel sheets!

Up early this morning as I’m waiting on a package to get delivered that needs a signature.  It also means I can’t go anywhere so that I don’t miss the delivery.  Which is OK because it’s cold and crazy windy out so staying snug in my little house is perfectly fine with me.

Yogurt Bowl and coffee

Breakfast was a yogurt bowl with:

  • 2% Fage
  • Homemade granola
  • Homemade cranberry sauce
  • Chocolate chips

Chocolate + cranberry is one of my favorite combos!

Tuna Salad and Snacks

Lunch was super simple but delicious, tuna salad with veggies and plantain chips.  The tuna salad had:

  • Mayo
  • Green Onion
  • Sriracha
  • Diced Dill Pickle
  • Diced Pepperoncinis

And seasoned with Flavor God Garlic Lovers.  I munched on lunch while watching more Criminal Minds and that’s basically the theme of my day.

Taco Bowl

Dinner was a taco bowl with:

  • Ground bison seasoned with Flavor God Spicy Everything and with some salsa added
  • Rice
  • Roasted yellow squash
  • Cheddar
  • Green Onion

Mmmmm filling and perfect for Taco Tuesday!

I have not watched Martha and Snoop yet because I’m waiting for Scott to be able to watch it with me.  He’s got stuff going on in the evenings this week and I know he is going to want to see it.  That’s OK, I’ll be able to double up on episodes next week and two shows back to back will make for an awesome night!

I know I’m not super chatty this week but since it’s my “vacation”, I’m trying to be on my computer as little as possible, hence the shorty posts.  I know you understand! Till tomorrow!

All The Leftovers

I was up bright and early this morning at 5am to see Scott off to his appointment.  Then I laid back down but couldn’t really sleep.  It was more of that twilight sleep where you’re sort of conscious but also dreaming.  When I got back up I was so terribly groggy.

My coffee may be decaf (I can’t have caffeine) but I was still singing its name.  Then I made myself a big breakfast bowl.

Sausage, egg, potato breakfast bowl

Sausage, egg, and leftover roasted potatoes all topped with some Cholula.

Lunch was super easy, I heated up some leftover green beans along with a chicken and basil sausage.

Chicken basil sausage and green beans

Dinner was also leftovers, cue the obligatory post Thanksgiving turkey soup with carrots and potatoes.

Turkey veggie soup

My goal for today was to claim a couch cushion and stay put and I completely achieved that goal.  Post Thanksgiving, I take the following week off and use it as a time to relax, get centered, and grounded. I decorate the house for the holidays, binge on Netflix (Criminal Minds right now!), and hang.  So there’s going to be a whole lot of nothing going on this week and it’s glorious!

So Very Tired

Last night I had a splash of red wine along with a cheesecake slice that I picked up at Whole Foods.  I thought that it had a chocolate cheesecake layer and chocolate ganache layer but I was totally wrong.  It had a chocolate cake layer and a chocolate pudding layer.

Yuck.

Chocolate Cheesecake

I scraped off the cake layer (sorry, I hate cake) and tasted the pudding layer which I ended up not liking.  I had the regular cheesecake layer and that was only alright.  It was a total sugar rush and left me feeling icky afterwards.

I should just stick to making my own treats but I always harbor hope that I’ll find something tasty from someplace else.

We did get to watch Martha and Snoop last night and oh my goodness it was awesome.  Martha and Snoop in turkey hats!

martha_snoop_turkey_hats

This morning I got up and went for a run with my friend before hitting the gym.  I was starving when I came home and could not get food in my belly fast enough.

Yogurt Bowl and Coffee

Yogurt bowl with some frothy coffee.  The coffee was made with SO Delicious Mint Chocolate (more about this stuff on Saturday).  Standard yogurt bowl:

  • 2% Fage
  • Granola
  • Chocolate Chips

After breakfast it was time to get started on some Thanksgiving day prep. I got the turkey in a white wine brine, cubed the potatoes and got those soaking, and made cranberry sauce.  Then it was time for lunch and I kept things simple and easy.

Ham wrap and carrots

Ham, lettuce, and mayo on a grain-free wrap, and carrots. Unpictured but I also had some chips and jalapeno artichoke dip (both from TJ’s).

I made the pumpkin pie and got the creamy cauliflower casserole started, then I did dishes and that wrapped up all my Thanksgiving prep for the day.  I am freaking beat!

Brat, baked sweet potato, and sugar peas

Still keeping things simple and easy for dinner, jalapeno cheddar brats, baked sweet potato with butter, and some blanched sugar snap peas in a little butter and Flavor God Garlic Lovers.

Now it’s time to chat with Scott for a bit before heading to bed. I might not even make it to 9pm tonight!

Breezy and Chilly

I did not get to watch Martha and Snoop last night because I ended up needing to record the later showing because two other things were recording. Instead I watched part of the Pens game and part of Dancing with the Stars (guilty pleasure and I adore it.) I’ll be honest, I feel a little empty missing Martha and Snoop and I’m not sure when I’ll get to watch the episode (sob). Brace yourselves because it’s holiday time and while I still plan on eating well and working out, I will be indulging in some fun food items.  Oh, I will fully share that with you but buckle up because I love the holidays and all the food that goes with it. Snacks were consumed last night, I had a small plate of ham, some Spanish cheeses from a TJ’s little variety pack, and some carrots with jalapeno and artichoke dip.  I also had some bourbon because Thanksgiving week.  That will be a theme so just roll with it. Ham, Cheese, Carrots, Dip Dessert was three mini dark chocolate peanut butter cups from TJ’s. Up this morning to an overcast, chilly, and windy day.  I went for a run before hitting the gym. Yogurt Bowl, Coffee Breakfast was a small yogurt bowl with:

  • 2% Fage
  • Homemade Granola
  • Chocolate Chips

Frothy coffee with a splash of So Delicious Nog (I’ll be talking more about this on Saturday). I did some chores around the house and worked on some Thanksgiving prep.  After the house was clean, it was time for lunch and I kept things easy. Brat, Green beans Green beans and a jalapeno cheddar brat by Continental Sausage (I love this sausage so much!).  I also made a smoothie but forgot to grab a pic because I was chatting with my mom. It had:

  • Water
  • Collagen Peptides
  • Spinach
  • Frozen Bananas
  • Frozen Blueberries

Once lunch was over and I was done chatting with my mom, and finished up the laundry, it was time to hit the couch with Scott to play the latest Gears of War game.  I was reading some previous Daily Eats posts of mine from 2009 and we were playing Gears of War 2 around this time!  Weird. I guess we like to play Gears during Thanksgiving week. We played for a bit and then it was time for dinner.  I heated up some leftover beef and veggie soup that I made on Sunday in the slow cooker. Beef veggie soup I used leftover beef roast, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and diced tomatoes with a beef stock base.  It made for the perfect dinner on this chilly and windy day! Now it’s time to finish up Dancing with the Stars and kick back with a splash of red wine.  Hooray Holidays!

Thanksgiving Errands

Happy Monday, gang! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! I worked most of the weekend but I still had some nice downtime with Scott which was lovely and got to have some fabulous treats.  We got some takeout on Saturday from a local BBQ place which included fried chicken, ribs, and pulled pork.  It was alright (I’m so picky about dining out), would we get it again? Maybe.

This morning I had a Kind bar as I was getting ready for the gym. I was hungry and the bananas that we have are super ripe and now have a texture I don’t dig.  I wasn’t feeling 100% and ended up not going to the gym.  Boo. I hate missing the gym and I also don’t like feeling off balance.

I had some frothy coffee early this morning and forgot to snap some pics but you guys know what that looks like.

Late breakfast sort of lunch but not really, that’s what I’m calling this meal.

Spinach Feta Chicken Sausage and Sweet Potato

Half a baked sweet potato with Kerrygold butter and some Applegate Spinach and Feta chicken sausage.  The sausage was alright.  I feel like Applegate’s sausages are a little too processed.  All of their sausages, texture is almost like a cheap hotdog and there’s a cheap hotdog kind of flavor going on in the background.  It’s not horrible but I’ve definitely had better sausages.  Not sure I’d purchase those again.

Scott has the entire week off, (HOORAY!) and that means I get more time to hang with him this week. However we needed to get some stuff done for Thanksgiving and headed out this afternoon to finish up holiday errands. The stores were packed!

I picked up some more turkey bone broth from TJ’s and then we hit Whole Foods where I got our turkey and the final ingredients for the big dinner on Thursday.

Since I was still feeling a little off and errands took longer than expected, I picked up dinner from Whole Foods.  Our local store started doing ramen a few months back and that’s what I got today.  It’s a little on the pricey side but it is enough for two meals.

Whole Foods Chicken Ramen

Chicken ramen that comes with seaweed, bok choy, and a soft boiled egg.  The egg grosses me out so I give that to Scott.

This hit the spot!  I will be having a snack tonight because I do need a little bit more food in my system.  I know this was a quick post but it’s getting late and I’m ready to hit the couch and catch this week’s episode of Martha and Snoop!

Lazy Day

I did end up having a splash of red last night along with a snack of manchego and honeycrisp apple because I was still feeling a tad hungry.

Red wine, apple, manchego

I did not eat this entire serving. I had about half the apple (it was gigantic) and two slices of cheese while watching Martha and Snoop.  Oh y’all, it did not disappoint this week!  Martha got a blinged out cheese grater necklace from Rick Ross and it was amazing. And as you can see from this gif, he was all into Martha.

Seriously, watch this show!
martha necklace from rick

I went to bed and read for a bit.  Almost finished with Food Freedom Forever and will be reading The Whole 30 book next.  I’m planning on doing a Whole 30 in January so I’m getting a refresher on the info.

Waking up this morning was rough. I am so tired and sore from workouts so far this week.  Ugh. Definitely having old lady moments.  I decided to take it easy and have a morning to myself then decide how I am going to manage the day.

I was starving when I got up so I made some eggs and heated up squash.

Scrambled Eggs and Delicata Squash

Two scrambled eggs with a roasted delicata squash that was topped with butter and a little maple syrup.  All butter we use is Kerrygold and the syrup is organic Costco brand.

Chicken Salad on Baby Greens

I did some work, prepped dinner in the slow cooker, and then it was time for lunch.  Moar chicken salad!  I seriously cannot get enough of chicken salad and I’m so happy that mayo is back to being cool again.  I’ve always loved mayo but it got a bad wrap for many years, however, thanks to Paleo and Primal movement, mayo is back in fashion! Hooray!

Chicken salad with tomatoes on some baby greens.

I got snacky midafternoon and decided to have a little something.  I tried those TJ’s Turkey and Stuffing chips and they were eh.  They just tasted like chips to me and not like savory seasoned chips.  I had three and decided that the chips weren’t worth it.

Hard Salami and Manchego

Instead my snack was some hard salami and manchego.  I try not to snack between meals but sometimes it’s needed. I try to listen to my body as much as possible and not just mindlessly eat.

I listened to my body today by not going to the gym.  I have such guilt about not going but my body was tired and so sore.  Instead I took an epsom salt bath and decided to rest up instead.

Beef roast, carrots, mashed parsnips

Dinner was slow cooker beef roast and carrots with mashed parsnips on the side.  I placed the roast in the slow cooker with a splash of red wine, Worcestershire sauce, and a little beef broth.  Seasoned with Flavor God Everything Seasoning and let that cook on low for hours. Yes I use Flavor God seasonings a great deal because they are awesome. Everything is one of my favorites blends as it pairs well with meats especially beef.

I made a quick gravy out of the liquid in the slow cooker. I make my gravy using arrowroot powder and it turns out perfectly each time.

There’s a hockey game tonight! So I’m going to kick it on the couch for a bit watching the Pens play and then it’s an early bedtime for me so I can kick butt tomorrow.

Heads up that I won’t be doing daily eats posts on Thursdays or Sundays.  Those are my long work days and the last thing I want to do when I get back home is get on the computer.  I’ll post my meals on Instagram though!

Keeping It Easy

I had some herbal tea and two pieces of dark chocolate last night as we watched TV.  Costco had a set of some tea from Good Earth, it’s called Sweet and Spicy and it is delicious.  My local Costco doesn’t really have much tea so I was surprised to see these! Herbal tea is an after dinner staple during the winter months and I’m fully stocked!

I hit the gym early this morning and had a banana between my weight session and my Crossfit workout.  I was starving when I got home and made a huge yogurt bowl for myself.

Loaded Yogurt Bowl and Frothy Coffee

  • 2% Fage
  • Homemade Granola
  • Pecans
  • Dried Cranberries
  • A few Chocolate Chips

I’m not sure if I ate enough yesterday because during my workout today I was dragging hard and felt so weak.  Ugh.

Frothy coffee with just coconut oil today.

I had some errands to do and I also had some light grocery shopping to get done. I headed to TJ’s and saw that they have Turkey and Stuffing flavored kettle chips.  Yes, I bought some. No regrets, that’s life.  Sometimes I eat chips. I have no idea what they taste like but I’ll keep you posted!

Since errands ate up my afternoon, lunch was light and easy, a smoothie and I don’t have a picture because we’ve all seen smoothies.  The smoothie had:

This is a typical smoothie for me.  I don’t usually mix things up too much in the smoothie department. It wasn’t going to be long before I had to start prepping for dinner so the smoothie worked out.

Mini Taco Salad, Broccoli Rice

Tacos for dinner because it’s Taco Tuesday! I seasoned up some ground bison with Flavor God Taco Tuesday seasoning (for tacos I alternate between this and the Spicy Everything Seasoning).  I also added in some chopped onion, pepper, and a little salsa to bring it together. TJ’s started carrying broccoli rice in their fresh produce section so I made some of that as a side.  Seasoned simply with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. It’s more hearty than cauliflower rice and needs a little bit longer to cook.  It also needs more seasoning, I definitely under seasoned it today. Lesson learned for next time.

I also made some fresh pico de gallo and picked up some guacamole at TJ’s.  I had some chips + salsa + guac with dinner so I had my taco filling on top of some chopped lettuce instead of in shells. Sprinkled with a little cheddar and all the toppings.  So good!

I’m going to have a small glass of wine and hit the couch to watch Martha and Snoop! Are you watching this show because it is AMAZING. Without even realizing it, the creators of this show have provided America with exactly what we need right now. Which is entertainment, people getting along, and some crazy shit.  Seriously cannot get enough of this show!

Back To My Roots

I’m going to attempt to go back to blogging about my eats on a regular basis.  I’m not sure that it’s going to be everyday but it will be several days.  We’ll see how this goes because it’s been years since I’ve done this and it might take me some time to get back in the swing of things.  Reading some old posts of mine back when I started this blog are hilarious.  Oh the things I’ve said and how far I’ve come since then!

I don’t see many people do diary style blog posts anymore and those are the types of blogs that I love. I enjoy those posts because I find motivation from seeing people workout and eat well.  I haven’t come across a blog that does daily updates like that and one that I can relate to that eats and workouts similiar to me.

In an effort to provide motivation for myself (and possibly someone else who might be looking for the same thing) I’ve decided to try getting back into regular blogging of my eats.  I’m going to stick with posting a Fitness Friday recap of my workouts from the week.

So let’s get this started!

Before hitting the gym this morning I did have a banana. I woke up feeling a little bit hungry and a small banana did the trick.

Coffee and Yogurt Bowl

Breakfast was a small amount of 2% Fage, homemade granola, and a few chocolate chips.  Along with frothy coffee! My coffee had some VitalProteins Collagen Peptides and coconut oil blended into it.  I’m in love with collagen peptides!  It’s a great way to sneak in more protein plus it helps hair, nails, and joint support.  Getting older (ugh) I need all the joint support that I can get. The peptides are unflavored and mix easily with any drink, even cold! It can also be mixed into things like yogurt and oatmeal.

Veggies and Chicken Salad

Lunch was chicken salad with carrots, peppers, and some plantain chips.  Trader Joe’s has the best plantain chips!

I normally make my own mayo but saw this Chosen Foods Avocado Mayo on my most recent trip to Costco and it was a very reasonable price.  I used it today in the chicken salad.  While I do like my version a little more, this stuff is really tasty.  A little on the sweeter side thanks to the honey but otherwise it’s a hearty and healthy mayo.

Burger and Veggies

Dinner was super simple and easy because I’m not feeling 100% (thanks cramps!).  I heated up some burgers (I tend to pre-make burgers and meatballs to freeze. Then when I want something quick to heat up to eat, these are ready to go.) and topped those with a simple sauce of ketchup + Worcestershire + coconut sugar.  On the side was Ranch Cheddar Potato Bites and sugar snap peas.

For the bites, I used leftover mashed potatoes and added shredded cheddar and Flavor God Ranch Seasoning.  Stuffed the mixture into a mini cupcake pan and baked at 400 until they were golden and crispy.  The sugar snap peas got a quick blanch then tossed with a small amount of butter and seasoned with Flavor God Garlic Lovers Seasoning.

I know the picture isn’t that great but we’re in winter months now and I’m still adjusting to figuring out the best lighting for evening photos.  Since I’m tossing around the idea of doing this daily, my food photos aren’t going to be amazing or staged all that much.  This is more about real life and not about magazine worthy photos.

Currently brewing a pot of herbal tea and I might have some dark chocolate before going to bed.  I’m currently reading Melissa Hartwig’s newest book, Food Freedom Forever.  It’s an interesting read so far, I’m saving my full thoughts on the book until I’ve finished it.

Until tomorrow, pretties! Have a fabulous night!

Walk About

Up bright and early today because we had our group dog walk at 8am.  We get together with other dog owners and do an easy walk with our dogs.  It’s exercise for dogs and owners and also allows the dogs a chance to get used to walking in a pack.  Plus it provides a nice bonding time between owner and dog.

Today was our longest walk which clocked in at almost 3 miles!  It was a lot cooler this morning than it has been so we were able to take the dogs a little further without worrying about them overheating.

Avery and Penny are so chill and relaxed the rest of the day after our group walks, which means that mom and pops can get lots of work done!

I was starving when we got back and because I planned ahead I just had to heat up leftovers. Breakfast win!

Kale fritatta with sausage

Fritatta with chopped kale (from frozen), onion, and bacon.  I topped it with some swiss cheese and tomato slices.  On the side was some pork sausage links.

For the fritatta, I used 5 eggs + a splash of water and scrambled.  I sauteed up the onion, bacon, and kale in some ghee in an oven proof skillet and sprinkled with Flavor God’s Everything seasoning. Once the onions were soft, I added in the egg mixture and placed the skillet in a 400 degree oven for about 10 minutes.

The sausage was already cooked.  I usually will cook an entire package of sausage at a time and then keep the leftovers in the freezer.  This way I can pull out what I need and easily reheat it.

Salad with tomato and avocado

Lunch was a salad with some tomato, avocado, and cucumber.  Chopped tomato and cucumber were seasoned with a little salt and chili powder.  Then I added in the juice of half a lime and a little olive oil.  Let that sit for a bit to marinade and get the juices flowing out of the veggies.  This makes a quick dressing that I used on the salad.  Easy peasy!

Roast chicken, green beans, parsnip mash

I was looking forward to dinner all day!  Roast chicken!  The chicken was rubbed down with lard (you can sub in butter or ghee if you want.  Olive oil doesn’t provide nearly the same depth of flavor but you can use that if you prefer.) and then sprinkled with Flavor God’s Lemon Garlic Lovers.  I add some water to the bottom of the cast iron skillet and roasted the chicken at 375 until cooked through.  Basting about every 30-40 minutes.  This chicken took about two hours to roast.

On the side was parsnip mash and green beans.  The green beans were simmered on the stove in water until they were cooked through.  Drained and then got tossed with butter and Flavor God’s Everything Seasoning and a little splash of water.

I also made a quick pan sauce out of the pan drippings.  I added some more water to the skillet, about 1/2 and scraped up the drippings.  I brought that to a simmer and let it reduce by half.  Bam! Pan sauce that is flavorful and doesn’t need flour or butter.

Tomorrow’s dinner will be leftovers so I only need to worry about making breakfast and lunch.  Today was a good day with the eats!

Supplies:

Flavor God seasonings

Sausage from Boulder Sausage Company

Bacon from The Boar and Bull

Eggs and chicken from Jodar Farms

February 4th, 2010: preparations

[Writer’s Note: This was supposed to go up last night but my picture program wasn’t working right.  So it got posted this morning instead.]

Hi gang!  Sorry for no update yesterday but time got away from me and I was busting it around the house.  It was a bit windy Wednesday morning so I stayed inside and did 2 levels of shred and then Gina’s week 3 of the Winter Shape-Up.  I kicked ass and it felt awesome!  One thing I love right now about doing the shred is that I’m actually sweating and to be honest, it’s one of the things about working out that I love.  With it currently being winter, I don’t really sweat much on my runs outside.  Both of my martial arts schools are in warehouse type buildings which means they tend to be on the cold side during winter and that means I’m not sweating as much.

I love to sweat!  I stink like a mofo too when I sweat.  I smell like sweat and garlic. Sexay!  In the mornings I have the added bonus of morning breath to go with it! :p  When I sweat, I feel like my body is working it and all kinds of nasty toxins are being forced out.  In the winter when I don’t sweat as much I don’t feel as great after a workout.  Don’t get me wrong, I still feel good but not fantastic.  I like feeling fantastic!  Doing shred in the living room helps me crank out a nice sweat.

Yesterday’s lunch was a pick-plate because I wasn’t super hungry.

Smoothie:

  • .5C Carrot juice
  • 1.5C Unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 1.5C Soymilk
  • Spinach
  • Banana
  • Frozen blueberries
  • Frozen peaches

The plate was carrots, cucumber, and a chick’n patty with BBQ sauce.  Fruit in the middle.  Mmmm chick’n patty.

It was dang cold yesterday but Rocks and I cranked out a walk anyway where some high school kid told me my dog was cute.  After coming up to me, staring at me and saying, “HI!” as I was doing dooty duty.   It was hilarious!

It took me forever to decide on what to make for dinner and since I had a huge craving for beans I went with that.

We had blackbean burgers.  This time I ran some oats through the food processor first to break them down, then added:

  • 1can black beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1 garlic clove

I pulsed that a bit then added in some salsa and pulsed more.  I added some wheat germ and ground flax and mixed.  Formed into patties and put in the fridge for half an hour.  I sauteed them up in some olive oil on the stove.  Topped with some cheddar and then I added some extra salsa for dipping after the picture.

  • Buffalo sweet potato fries on the side:
  • Buffalo sauce
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Chili powder
  • Sprinkle of salt

Baked at 400 for about half an hour.

And I dipped into my summer corn stash and we had that on the side.

Thursday:

I woke up early this morning and kicked out 6 miles.  It was cold but not terribly cold and no wind.  I thought about doing 8 miles but I was a bit hungry and headed inside.  Naturally I’m sort of down on myself for not doing those 8 miles and coming home early.  I’m getting over it though, 6 is better than nothing!

Today’s smoothie was purple glorious!

  • 1C Carrot juice
  • 1C Unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 1C Water
  • Spinach
  • Frozen blueberries
  • Frozen mango

Today was actually a glorious day outside.  It wasn’t too cold and the sun was shining for a while.  Too bad the weather is forecasting for us to get a nasty storm tomorrow dropping 6+ inches of snow.  MEH.  I was cranky about it but then I realized that in the few years that I’ve lived in Ohio, the norm has been for us to get one last big snowfall before spring arrives.  And it always happens in February.  Maybe the early part of March but no later than that.  February seems to be Winter’s last hurrah or something.

MT was rough and totally kicked my butt.  WHEW!  One of the new guys at the school showed up but didn’t know it was a conditioning class.  Whoops!  He said he wondered why there weren’t very many cars outside.  I said, “Now you know.  Welcome to conditioning class, you’re in for a treat.”  Dude he was spent after class.  I wonder if he’ll be back?

You know what today is!  Give it up for:

Wooots!  Message created by Scott.  Are we the only dorks who talk to each other with fridge magnets?

Feta is my new addiction for pizza toppings.  Here’s the scoop:

  • Spelt crust
  • Pizza sauce
  • Shredded moz
  • Feta
  • Red onion
  • Shredded zucchini
  • Banana peppers
  • Ham (Scott’s side)

YUM!

I had two huge slices of this perfection.  Delish!

Questions and Answers:

The latest thing that’s been going around the blogs lately is this anonymous question and answer session.  Sorry guys but I won’t be participating in that.  If you have a question just send me an email and ask me.  If you have to be anonymous about it, well then what kind of questions are you looking to ask?  My stance is, if you have something to say then put your name on it and own it.  Don’t hide behind an anonymous status. As long as the question isn’t too personal (I would tell you if it was) then I have no problem dropping factoids or answering questions.  It could spark discussion which is nice!  But if you were looking for me to jump on that train then consider this me bursting your bubble.
