Hi guys! I was super preoccupied with updating apps and programs on my computer this morning to get a post in. Silly things were giving me all kinds of hell but I think everything is working properly now.
Last night in SF class we sparred, no worries we use padded sticks and helmets. But it wore me out! I got my butt kicked but I didn’t go down without a fight! I was so tired yet still amped from sparring when we got home. Class ran late so we got home late, by the time Rocky was walked and I was in my jammies it was 10:30pm. :o That’s my bedtime! Plus the extra unexpected activity left me a bit hungry. I also very much needed a glass of wine to help calm me back down. I put out a plate of sliced apple because I needed another fruit for the day, some salami and pepperoni, and some sharp cheddar cheese. I ate most of the apple, I think Scott might have had a few slices but not many. One slice of pepeproni and 2 of the salami (they are thin and one slice doesn’t even really equal one of the pep) and 3 slices of cheese. I could not stop eating it, it was so good and I’m trying to plan it so I can get some today! :p I still wasn’t fully satisfied, so I brought out some of those almond cranberry things I’ve been eating and had three of them. They were not feeling the camera last night.
We caught 2 periods of the Pens game from Monday and at midnight (!!) I finally stumbled up to bed. Because I got to bed late and because I was still a little revved up, I didn’t have the greatest of sleeps. I ended up getting hot which is my body’s way of telling me it is not a happy camper.
I got up around 7:45am (tried to sleep in a bit) and got my day started. I got Rocky taken care of and it was a tad cold outside with a little bit of ice. We had freezing rain yesterday for a short time and then got a little bit of snow. Since it was cold nothing melted but just sort of turned into a thin layer of ice. I decided to wait a bit in the hopes it would melt a little so it wouldn’t be too slippery for my run.
I wasn’t feeling the oats this morning, so I heated up a kashi waffle with some dark chocolate PB and some cranberry sauce. No more fage in the house at all and I am feeling the withdrawals. Had that along with morning coffee + creamer which was just not hot enough today. I only drank half the mug.
Dealt with computer issues all morning and finally decided to get moving on my run. I ran in the street because it was less slippery than the sidewalks and did the usual 3.5 route. I’ve decided the construction guys can kiss it. Actually the ones who were bugging me are all in the actual house they are building so I don’t have to deal with them being out when I run past. I was going a bit slow today because I’m still tired from yesterday and sparring can leave you sore in places you didn’t realize you got hit, it’s best to take it easy the following day. I figured my time would be way high but I clocked in at 42 minutes which isn’t bad at all.
I slammed two glasses of CS and ran up to shower. I was a sweaty icky mess. Rocky would get his walk later. After showering, I did some stuff on the computer and it was time for lunch. I was hungry! Not starving but my stomach was totally empty and had no issue with telling me about it.
I had some veggie soup that I added a little bit of the rice and beans from yesterday too. In the middle is a red delicious and a cut up carrot. I had a few slices of each and did not eat that whole bowl of soup, only half. It was big bowl!
After lunch was cleanup and now I’m posting my eats. I have to clean the house and still take Rocky out. MT tonight is up in the air because I’m still really tired from last night. I don’t know if I have the energy for conditioning!
