Guys I’m busting out this post because I am worn. out.
My run this morning was glorious and I over dressed! :o I was burning up in my jacket, serves me right for not checking the temp before I left. I had no idea it was going to be this warm, like we’re in the 40s. Craziness!
I wasn’t going to run the 3.4 miler again because I was going to give myself a break knowing I was going to run it tomorrow morning. I’m running along and I sort of zoned out because I was thinking about Christmas and plans and what we’re doing and blah blah blah. Next thing I know, I’m on the second loop of the run to extend the run. I ended up doing the 3.4 miler anyway. I guess my body had different plans than my brain. :p
I drank down my CS and was back out with Rocks. When we got back home I showered and then I did the Wii Yoga. It yelled at me for being away so long but whatevs Wii. I did about 15 minutes. Then I was starving so I had an apple.
That lasted me for about as long as it took me to eat the apple. I decided to just make lunch.
I had a morningstar chick patty that I cooked in a skillet with some olive oil. I stuffed that in a WW pita with some spinach and a little bit of olive oil mayo. On the side is veggies I pulled out from the Chinese dishes. I ate all of my sandwich and about half the veggies.
Then it was time to prep! I put on Christmas music and got busy. I made the brine for the turkey and got the turkey loaded in it and put in the fridge. Veggies chopped and prepped. Rocky’s food made. The sweet potato casserole made. I decided to hold off on the green bean casserole and do that later (like Friday). I made applesauce and I made some pumpkin pudding for dessert. Then I did all the dishes. That took me all day. A little after 5pm is when everything was said and done, including cleanup! I put on my jammies and started dinner.
Nothing fancy, butternut fries and Kashi pizza. I’m trying to stay with my veggie day today since tomorrow will not be one. I also poured a huge glass of wine. While the stuff was cooking, I snacked on some Parrano cheese and some sweet potato chips. Four of those squares of cheese and most of the chips.
I had everything on my plate and went back in for another slice (wee) of the pizza. I was starving! And I’ll probably have more wine. :p It’s the holidays! But I’m not going to have so much that it’s going to affect my run tomorrow.
Now it’s time to sit on the couch and chilllll, then head to bed. See you guys tomorrow for turkey day!
