Hi guys!  Yesterday was long and I was so glad to be in my jammies by the end of it!  I got up crazy early in the morning so I could get things done before heading over to the SF seminar.  I had a mug of coffee to get me through the morning.

For breakfast I made us a big batch of oatbran because I wasn’t sure when break would be and for how long.

Just cranberries and some cashew butter in the oatbran.  Along with a mashed banana, protein poweder, and some ground flax.

I packed up some lunch and snacks to take to the seminar with us.

Like I said, I wasn’t sure when break would be.  I figured we would get a lunch break but that was just assumption on my part.  Because of that I decided to pack a variety of things.  However, the break ended up only being 15minutes. :O  So lunch was not happening.  Scott had an Odwalla bar and I had a container of oranges (2 oranges total) and there is a baggie of carrots and cucumbers that I snacked on as well.  I didn’t have time to eat it all before training started again.

The training was awesome.  I was grateful for the chance to be able to attend.  Admittedly though, once the end came a little after 3pm I was tired and ready to hang it up for the day.  I finished my oranges, carrots, and cucumber slices after we cleared the mat.

There was a quick stop at our instructor’s house where there was food.  I didn’t eat a bunch because I already had dinner plans for us at home.  I had three Filipino egg rolls (we do Filipino stick and knife fighting and the instructor for yesterday’s seminar was Filipino, hence the Filipino egg rolls. ;) ) and a small scoop of a rice and chicken dish.  No chicken just rice.  Very small, as in maybe 2 tablespoons.  I have no idea what was in it but it seemed pretty basic stuff.  We didn’t stay long, we needed to get home and get Rocky fed and pottied.

Then we came home.  Ahhhh home! :D  I got Rocky taken care of, changed into my jammies and put some Thai oil on my forearms as they have some bumps and bruises.  I heated up leftovers for Scott (roast, my leftover 1/2 baked potato, and carrots) and I made a quick salad.  I wanted something light as I wasn’t terribly hungry and I also wanted a snack later so a salad was my best choice.

  • Mixed greens
  • Cucumber
  • Carrot
  • Sunflower and pumpkin seeds

That I tossed with a bit of the horseradish cream sauce.  Mmmm!  I also picked off of Scott’s plate.

And had a few bites of roast and potato.

Then we plopped down on the couch to watch a movie.  We started beers with a Honey Porter.  Keeping in mind that our “splitting” is like 70-30, Scott being the 70.  Then 1/2 way through the movie it was snack time!

Mmmmm

Mmmmm

A black lager (my fave!) and chips.  I wanted salty! I also had more than 30% on this one since it’s my favorite of the bunch.  There were baked salt and vinegar, and also some onion chips.  Not good for the breath but oh so tastey!  The movie we watched was Transporter 3.  The movie would have be so much better had the bad guy killed the chick off in the beginning.  God she was so annoying.  And I hated that of course they have to end up together.  She was even more annoying than the chick from the first movie.  Bah!  Otherwise it was awesome and the fight scenes were great!  I would have liked to have been able to view them better instead of the cutting and shaky-shakes filming that is the trend now with movie fight scenes.  Don’t do that!  Just show the fights!  And if you have seen the movie AND you know anything about me, then you know that I’m currently trying to figure out how to choke someone with a suit jacket. ;)

After the movie, we watched one bonus feature and then it was off to bedtimes for me.  I was in bed by 10:30 and it was awesome! :D

I don't see you....

I don't see you....

Rocky is not into having his picture taken anymore.  As soon as he hears the camera turn on, he won’t even give you the time of day.  He’ll just try to ignore you as if you don’t exist. :p  It’s so funny!  Of course we still take his picture.

  1. LOL I have seen the movie and I do know you. That was my thought after seeing the movie too. And yeah that chick was SO annoying. Only the hotness of JS made me sit through it.
