January 22nd, 2009: Breakfast and lunch

Hi guys!  Okay so class ran a little longer last night and by the time Scott and I were sitting down on the couch it was after 10pm which we all know is my normal heading-to-bed time.  Oh my.  Plus I was snacky so I pulled out some carby goodness in the shape of a fish.

Scott and I split some fishies while we watched a period of the Pens game from Friday.  Then I stumbled up to bed because I was soooo tired.  Oh man it was going on 11pm and I was amazed how wiped out I was!

Bright and early, 6am called and called pretty loudly to, dang it.  I got up and got Rocky taken care of and was so happy it was not frozen outside.  It felt balmy and warm.  When I came back in I checked the temp and it was 18F!  Hey, that’s better than 6F.

I made some oaty oats for breakfast with some coffee.  Nothing fancy with the oats today, just regular oats with regular mix-ins (cranberries, dark chocolate PB, and some added bare naked chocolate granola).  I did some bloggy stuff while I ate my oats and then it was time to head out for a run!

Oh what a run I had today!  It was warm and the sun was shining.  I was feeling strong and busted out my run keeping my HR up and up!  No construction guys either!  Woot!  I did the now norm 4.5 miles and was feeling awesome when I got home.

After my CS I headed upstairs to do my yoga stretches.  Ahhh 20 minutes of stretching bliss.  Shower and downstairs to eat an apple with PB.

More bloggy stuff and then it was time for lunch.  I wasn’t super starving and this is probably the most random lunch I’ve had in a while.

Behold the plate of randomness!  We have some new FoodShouldTasteGood chips on there with a LC light wedge, a carrot, some cucumber, and 2 clems.  I just wanted to pick and this lunch satisfied that need.  I didn’t even eat all that, close though!  I will probably need my afternoon snack a little earlier today though.

Now it’s off for a quick run for some bananas because we’re low, and then time to knock some more stuff off my to-do list!
