Pizza Thursday Report for August 6th, 2010

Hi gang!  I know I’m getting this post to you late in the day but things have been crazy here at the HQ.  Do I keep saying that because I feel like I’m on repeat.

Pete and his brother Repete were in a boat…..

Ever hear that joke?

Anyway, both Scott and I are tackling projects left and right which means we are busting our butts on this end working hard to make sure things are done and done right.  This week was very busy with business meetings, networking meetings, and project meetings.  Oh and even some bloggy meetings too!

Plus I’m trying to get the HQ in tip-top shape because some of your favorites from the foodie and healthy living bloggy world will be stopping by TOMORROW for a wee lil’ get-together.  Yeah baby!  WHEEE!!

And then there’s living our personal lives and making sure that Scott and I get some facetime together at some point during the day.  That’s very important to us as a couple.  Is it important to you and yours?

So you can understand that I am burning the candle at both ends currently and I’m not really sure when that is going to change.  Which is okay because busy means we’re working and things are happening for the better! :D

Okay, anyway you came for the pizza and not hearing me ramble on.  Or did you? ;)

I went easy this week and did a lovely veggie pizza for my half:

  • Whole Wheat Crust
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Shredded moz and asiago
  • Red Onion
  • Green Pepper
  • Broccoli
  • Spinach
  • Mushrooms and Pepperoni (Scott’s half)

Antiques Roadshow was outta control this week!  Please keep in mind that we tape this show and have stockpiles of them on our DVR so we have them to watch whenever.  We aren’t current with the episodes, far from it! Because we tape it and save it during hockey season and catch up on them over the summer.  Hockey season is just around the corner kids!  Anyway, some lady had this sketch drawing by a famous painter that was worth a couple hundred thousand dollars. :o  Another lady had this terribly ugly piece of pottery that was like 25 thousand dollars.  The antiques on this episode were extremely high!  I love when they are that high, it’s so fun to see which is going to be worth a lot and which is going to be worth next to nothing.

Yes I am a dork.

Then we watched the season finale of Kathy Griffin which was hilarious.  Do any of you watch that show?  Lord this week was all about her mom and her mom’s new condo which is exactly like high school and totally crazy.  Plus it had Cloris Leachman in it!  I apologize if you youngin’s don’t know who Cloris Leachman is but trust me when I say she’s damn funny.  Then I kicked it in bed and was exhausted!

In the event you are looking for something to read ;) I have a guest post up over at Maggie’s site about food and relationships!  Plus it contains one of my super fave pics of Scott and I!

  1. Haha, this show sounds great. Maybe I need to start watching it! I can’t believe hockey is around the corner. It feels like it just ended. I am a Flyers fan so it was an extra long season for us though. ;)

Have a great weekend my love!
