Hiya pretties! With me trying to deal with/get rid of some sort of cold like thing that I have going on, this week has been a little strange. I’ve slept a ton during the day (which I never do), my runs have either been nonexistent or short. And I don’t think I remember what a martial arts class looks like. Meh.
I have no idea what is going on, if I have a cold or what but I’ll spare you the details and we can just jump straight into pizza!
- Spelt Crust
- Pizza Sauce
- Shredded moz and parm
- Red onion
- Buffalo chicken sausage
I added buffalo sauce to the dough this week and it was tasty! My dough acted a bit funny and I’m not sure if it’s related to the buffalo sauce addition or if it’s because it’s been so humid that you have to cut your way though the air with a machete. Luckily I’m trained for such occasions. Both in wielding machetes and handling sticky dough. Multitasking at it’s finest!
I added some extra flour but it was not giving up sticky status so I let it be angsty and sit with itself in a corner listening to The Cure. I also explained that getting anything pierced was out of the question and also, no safety pins actually are not good accent pieces.
A few hours later it was still being moody but I rolled with it and treated it gently. It did what it was supposed to do in the end and we had a lovely pizza night!
I may or may have eaten five pieces. Ooo la la! I can totally get my grub on thankyou.
Also? Pizza is not the devil. And that’s all I’m saying about that.
