December 10th, 2009: Frozen

Hi gang!  I did have a snack last night, a large red delicious and two prunes.

Apple

I had every intention of running this morning but when I heard the wind I knew it wasn’t happening.  I walked my dog in that crazy wind yesterday and wasn’t about to run in it.  I decided to be productive around the house instead.

I actually cleaned a bit this morning before breakfast.  I know!  I live on the edge, what can I say. ;)

Coffee and oatbran

Super bland oatbran.  Okay not really but there’s not much going on.  No banana so I had to use a pinch of brown sugar, I also added 1TBSP of chocolate whey protein powder and a huge scoop of PB.  I cooked the oatbran too long so it was a little cement like, I couldn’t finish my bowl.  Ohs well, it happens.

After breakfast, I woke up Scott and got my hiney busting around the house cleaning it.  Now that all the Christmas decorations are up in place, I could go through and cleanup all the fallen “pine needles” and what not.  Plus I did the usual weekly cleaning routine.  Am I the only one who cleans the house weekly?  I’m talking dusting and scrubbing down the kitchen and bathrooms.  Plus vacuuming if needed.  I feel a little out of sorts if I can’t get to that stuff on a weekly basis.

Then I ran Rocky out for the coldest walk ever.  I knew it was cold today but I really wasn’t prepared for how cold it actually was and with the wind, crikey it was ridiculous outside.  Our walk was very short and fast. :p

I am out of fresh everything so my lunch was pretty pathetic and included the most bizarre smoothie creation yet!

Smoothie, soup, bread, chicken patty

Look at this lunch, everything is totally packaged.  Ugh!  First there is some canned Amy’s Tomato soup, a Morningstar Chik’n patty, a sandwich thin toasted with some garlic powder and Italian seasoning, and the last of the cucumber.

Smoothie!  Ready for this craziness?

  • .5C Carrot Juice
  • 1C Unsweetened Cranberry-Pom Juice
  • 1C Vanilla Soymilk
  • Splash of water
  • Kale
  • 1 Unsweetened blueberry applesauce cup
  • Frozen pineapple

I told you, flipping bizarre.  But it was damn tasty!  No kidding, it really was good. :p

After lunch, I headed off to the salon to get my hairs cut and to get my face defuzzed.  Beautis!  I love going there!  Plus it gives me a chance to see my fave people.  To top it off, the woman who does all my defuzzing said to me, “You’re not even 30 yet are you?”

Clearly we are meant to be best friends because saying that to me will win my heart instantly.

I headed over to Whole Paycheck once that was said and done for monthly shopping + holiday shopping.  Lordy!  But I got some good things and something totally decadent fabbo for dessert tonight.  But you’ll have to wait till tomorrow to see what that is! ;)

Once the groceries were put away, you know what time it is!

Do we love it or what?  No conditioning today because Scott’s knee isn’t quite 100%, hopefully he’ll be good by Saturday!  Alright gang, I’m off to snug with the boys, drink some wine, and hit dessert.  See you tomorrow!

Once again, I am digging on your pizza! I may need to implement pizza Friday so I can copy your pizza from Thursday :-) I can’t run in cold wind. I can hardly breathe in it, it just hurts! As for cleaning, with 3 kids I have to clean the bathrooms 2x a week otherwise they get nasty fast! So be glad you just have to do it once a week :-)
