Hi guys! Whew finally getting caught up and posting eats the same day. Today has been spent “running” around trying to get everything ready to go for my trip. By running around, I mean doing things around the house.
The morning started off like how all Mondays should be, with large pots of coffee and oats.
I’m off this week, so there was no rushing to work. It was so nice! I almost didn’t even have oats this morning. I know you just about fell out of your chair when you read that. Since I made some granola, that sounded mighty fine. What swayed me to oats was in fact my upcoming trip! Who knows if I’ll get to eat oats while I’m gone (not counting the instant kind I bought to take with me for emergencies), so I figured I should get it in while I can. Basic pumpkin oats and it was delish!
The rest of the morning was spent working on blog stuff to prep some posts for this week along with site redesign stuff. I know but we seriously have been working on a redesign for ages. I don’t know blog code crap so I have to rely on Scott and only has so much free time. He’s a busy dude!
I also was doing laundry today, exciting stuff. I took Rocky out for a fabbo walk as the weather was amazing today. Oh my goodness it was just so gorgeous outside. Beautiful fall day!
When we got back and I rotated loads of laundry, I made some lunchie.
Munchie plate! Carrots, crackers, and cucumber. Okay maybe I should call it the C plate.
- 1C OJ
- 1C carrot juice
- 1C US cranberry juice
- Spinach
- Frozen peaches
- Frozen blueberries
The kale at the store looked really bad so I got spinach instead. While the ingredients for this smoothie might not sound good, it was totally fab.
Morningstar chick’n patty with BBQ sauce! Holla!
I dipped the veggies and crackers in the hummus tub. Mmm mmm!
More bloggy stuff after lunch along with kitchen and house clean-up. Unfortunately because I’m still in prep mode, SF and MT this week had to get put on the backburner.
Eventually it was time for some dinner up in here. Scott was having leftover so that meant this girl got to get her freak on with some Jass. Aww yeah!
Topped with a bit of yogurt ranch dressing.
Homemade apple sauce of which Scott ate the majority of.
Asaigo cheese bread from Panera. Sometimes you just need some cheesy whitebread in your life. That totally could describe my blog.
One of the things I did today was create a list of stuff for Scott explaining what he needs to do in order to take care of Rocks. Since I’m the one that does all the feeding and so forth, Scott is clueless.
I also created a spreadsheet listing all of our fridges and freezers and what they contain so Scott knows what his options are for the week. Yes I’m a dork.
Now I’m off to make some tea and prep some more! Till tomorrow my lovelies!
A spreadsheet?! Does Scott get down on his knees every morning and thank God for you? ‘Cause he should
Lovely snack plate! Love the lunch.
Yes Yes Yes, we all need some Panera Asiago cheese bread in our lives from time to time. Why would anyone be expected to live a life without this?
Glad you started your week off right. Love the spreadsheet! You are always on top of things. Scott is one lucky hubby.
you are too cute with your lists, I am the same way…so sad we won’t get to meet!
Now that’s a good wife! Aw!!!
I think my new nickname for you shall be “White Cheesebread.” And I’m backing that Jass up, White Cheesebread. You speak mad truth.
ha ha I keep a list of what is in the fridge, cupboards and freezer too! Otherwise I forget. And then I end up buying stuff I don’t need.
I do so many spreadsheets of what I need to buy, DVDs I want to buy etc. I’m a dork too.
