1.5
Hello lovies! What a day so far! First let’s talk about my run. This morning when I got up, it wasn’t quite as warm as I would have liked. I was hoping it would be a capri and no toboggan day, but that was not the case. It was warm enough that I could wear my hoodie and not the heavier running jacket, so that’s something. I had my now ritual 1/2 Zbar and was out the door for my 6.5mile run. Because I am such a lazy-ass procrastinator I didn’t find a new route to run. Instead I reworked my normal route, made a few more loops, and ended up with a nice paced 6.5 miles.
That is the farthest I have ever run to date!
I’m pretty proud of myself. Working at a 10:30mile pace, I completed my run in 1:07, not shabby. There was one small area where I walked because my HRM seemed to be freaking out. Apparently I’ve never used it for over an hour before and once I hit the hour mark, it started flipping between showing my stats and showing me the time. Is this normal? I couldn’t figure out what was going on so I just started running again, thinking, “Eff it. It still seems to be recording and the timer is still going.” I was ready to be done though when I finally made it back home. :p Goodness! Admittedly, the route was boring since I had to make so many loops. I need to figure out a new route I just hate messing with Google maps, it’s a pain in the butt.
I had 1.5 glasses of CS and then did some yoga stretches holding them a little longer and going a little deeper. I was worried about my right groin muscle today. Yesterday it was still really sore and I was hoping that it wouldn’t interfere with my run too much and that I wouldn’t injure myself. It gave me no problems this morning and actually feels so much better! The morning was goregous today, all sun with no clouds in the sky at all. I have no idea what happened though because now it’s all over cast. Booo

ate because I had to
After stretchign and changing, I had some coffee and some yogurt. Small scoop of 2% fage, chocolate granola, and a small scoop of butter toffee PB (naturally nutty). I wasn’t all that hungry which surprised me because I figured I would be famished. I picked at the mix and realized that I do not like the butter toffee PB at all. I finsihed the yogurt mix but left most of the PB on my spoon.
I did some bloggy stuff, checked mail, and caught up with a few blogs. Scott got up and it was time to hit the shower. After my shower, I started making breakfast.

Sunday Breakfast
I had my chips on the side so I could dip, but I did put chips in Scott’s portion so all the goodies were on top. There’s scrambled eggs with spinach, pinto beans, chopped avocado, and salsa with pepperjack melted on top. YUM! An orange in the middle for us to split. Breakfast was so filling!
Time to walk Rocks and get other things accomplished today.
Oooh! What a great idea. I have never thought of breakfast nachos despite the fact that I love breakfast burritos. Sounds so good!
Congrats on the run. You’re so motivated![:)](/images/smile.gif)
6.5 miles! You are awesome! I would be so excited!
10 K in 67 minutes! That’s absolutely fantastic!
Yippee! That’s really, really decent time.
And I don’t think it’s normal for HRM to go weird at the hour mark.
