Good morning guys! I’m trying to be UP(!) but I’m still a little bit sleepy. :p I was in bed by 10:30pm though, YaY!!
We tried the horde mode on Gears and it is difficult. Oh the first wave is fine because they want to suck you in and make you think this is fun, and then the next waves are impossible. I stopped after we died 25 times at wave three. Then we watched the Pens game from Saturday, they lost boo.
While we watched the game I had the above. That was my second small glass of wine. I had three of those almond things and the peppermint bark. YUM! After the game was over, before 10pm, I headed up to bed. It was a toss up between either going to sleep or reading. I opted to read since I was so close to the end of my book. I finished it and promptly passed out. Man I was so exhausted and I have no idea why.
Bright and early at 6am I got up and then got Rocky up who is always confused as to why we are getting up so early on Mondays. Got him taken care of and it is cold outside. Crazy cold with the seriously cold wind and everything. Brrr! I decided to make oats this morning. I wanted something warm and something with some staying power.
Nothing fancy, just regular oats:
- 1 C of vanilla soymilk
- 1/2 C of quick oats
- 1 mashed banana
- Pinch of salt and cinnamon
With dark chocolate PB and some cranberries for mix-ins. Along with some seriously strong coffee. Holy cow. Yesterday I had two cups with no ill effects. Too much coffee makes me jittery and my stomach all in knots. Today I could barely make it through one cup and I started getting all jittery and stuff.
The plan is PT, maybe a quick grocery trip for some veggies (because I’m out!), and then some work. At this stage I’m already thinking about bed later, is this a bad start to the day?
