November 20th, 2008: Lunch and Dinner

At the salon, as I was waiting for my stylist to come out, the lady who does all my waxings came out into the lobby and then my stylist came out. So I got to chat with them both for a minute! I love these two ladies! I’m lucky to have found them! :D I got my hair cut quick as it just needed a wee trim and then Scott and I were off to WF.

I seriously only planned on getting lunch stuff, some chick broth, and some more canned pumpkin. Oh and Silk! But they were having some really great sales on things and I knew that I would be able to get them cheaper there than at my other grocery store, so I ended up getting more than planned. I was also really hungry which didn’t help the situation. Scott picked up some sushi and I picked up some things to make for lunch when we got back.

For my lunch, I had some pulled bbq chicken that I stuffed in a WW pita with spinach and romaine. On the side was some leftover butternut fries!

I took Rocky for a quick walk, it was his normal walk but it was chilly so we busted out that walk in no time! When I came back I sliced up an apple. Lunch was good but heavy and it was weighing me down.

It wasn’t long before we had to head to MT and since lunch was later than normal I didn’t need a snack beforehand. It was conditioning night so lots of pushups and squats with medicine balls.

We came home to pizza Thursday! We haven’t seen a pizza Thursday for some time!

I made a buffalo chicken pizza. I didn’t make the crust but picked up a WW crust from WF and used that. I made a quick pizza sauce and earlier in the day I had already poached the chicken and cooked spicy sausage for Scott’s side.

Once I put on the sauce, I then sprinkled in some chopped spinach to get in some extra veg. Topped with some moz and cheddar then some sliced red onion and green pepper. Then the chicken, my side has less chicken. Then on Scott’s side, some spicy sausage and lots of red pepper flakes. Then the whole thing got topped with hot sauce and baked in the oven till crispy.

I had three slices. Two usually works but since this was super thin crust, I needed three.

After dinner we started the Pens game and I had a glass of white. About an hour or so later, I had another. My second glass was too big. :O I was chatting with Scott when I poured it and wasn’t paying attention. And then I was tired as we were sitting on the couch and mindlessly sipping at it. Doh! My fault.

After my day, I felt like I ate like crap. I know in reality it wasn’t bad but I felt like I definitely should have gotten in more veggies. It felt like a heavy day where all the food were just weighing me down. Meh. Today will be better!
