October 10th, 2008: Breakfast

Morning guys! I’m dragging a little bit today. Okay, a lot. :tired:

After I posted last night, I went upstairs to get in my jammies and ready for bed. Then as we watched TV to clear more stuff of the DVR, I had two wee glasses of wine. We watched Fringe and that show is on shaky ground with us. The main storyline doesn’t seem very well planned and the individual shows aren’t anything spectacular. I’ll give it two more shows then decide if it gets the ax or not. I think it was a little bit after 11pm when I decided that I really needed to go to bed. I was out like a light.

My alarm went off which meant that I was sleeping like a log. Usually I wake up a few minutes before my alarm. I wrestled for almost 10 minutes on whether to get up or not. I knew I would be working out later tonight because that’s when the SF seminar starts. Plus all day tomorrow. Since I went to bed late and got up insanely early yesterday, I figured I needed the sleep. But then had trouble falling back to sleep, so I just got up and started my day.

CS

CS

This is just not a good running week for me, or at least it doesn’t seem very productive. I had my worst total cal burned during this run today. I guess I shouldn’t say “worst” because I did run and did burn calories so it’s not a waste. I had my lowest total cals burned today (that’s better!) even though my HR was up and my time was good. Oh well. I did it and that’s what matters. I had my CS and was back out the door. And today I remembered to put on an extra sweatshirt for Rocky’s walk. Go me!

No oats

No oats

There are a ton of dishes sitting by the sink that need washed. I hate waking up to dirty dishes in my kitchen but yesterday I cleaned so much that I didn’t have it in me to do more, so I left them. Even though I wanted some oats I opted not to dirty another pot. Instead I had a sliced banana, 1/3 cup of homemade granola, some cranberries, 3.5 spoonfuls of yogurt, and a spoon of dark chocolate PB.

I had that with coffee and creamer. Scott said the coffee was pumpkin spice but it didn’t taste much like anything to me. Just like regular coffee. Maybe we need to enhance it by adding more spices. Usually Scott will add some cinnamon to the coffee grounds to give our coffee a little twist to it. Perhaps we need some more?

Since we’ve got a busy schedule this weekend, I will post when I can. Tomorrow I will most likely do a full day update as I won’t have time to post earlier. I’m off to do the dishes and get the day going. Happy Friday!

  1. Ha! Yes I do have a dishwasher, but stuff like mixing bowls, pots/pans, my kitchen knives, I don’t put in there. That’s the stuff that was piling up! All washed now though. :D
