Are you gearing up for a big holiday weekend?  Perhaps you’re celebrating Canada Day or maybe you’re celebrating the 4th of July.  Either way, you’ve got a long weekend, backyard BBQs and some grilling to get done.  Here are a few recipes to get you through the weekend.

Let’s start off with something fizzy to drink.  It’s light, refreshing, and a change from beer or margaritas.  It’s Coconut Lime Spritzer!  Super easy to make and very budget friendly.

Need a few dishes to bring to the party that won’t spoil if they sit out for a bit?  Try this new twist on cole slaw or bring this roasted veggie and wheatberry salad.

Wondering what to do with all that leftover grilled or boiled corn on the cob? Summer Corn Chowder to the rescue!

If chips and salsa are on your mind, we have you hooked up!

Roasted Tomato Salsa

Pineapple and Mango Salsa

Watermelon salsa will definitely intrigue people!

Don’t forget that just about anything can be grilled, even most veggies!  Have plenty of water and ice on hand.  Always have extra plates, napkins, and cups as well.

Have fun guys and enjoy your weekend!
