Hi gang! Just a quick post to say that things are still moving and shaking over here at the HQ.  We were out of town for a few days and just returned home yesterday afternoon.

We were without internet, not because of how rural the area was, (though in fact it was very rural) but because we were staying with my mom who doesn’t have internet connection.

She doesn’t have a computer, doesn’t use a computer, so for her to have internet is sort of silly.  There’s also no 3G cell service there so doing things via cell phone is a test in patience.  I’ve taken that test before and let’s just say, me and patience don’t really have a strong relationship.  We’re going to counseling, but you know how that can be.

We had fun while away.  We got to visit some new shopping places and see some people we haven’t seen in quite some time.

There is a new outlet mall near where my mom lives and on a whim one day, we decided to head over.  They had a Nike outlet.

JOY!

Nike running gear is my weakness and I’m not even going to tell you how much I dropped in that store but it was a lot.  I got so many things for a great price that I couldn’t pass them up.  Scott was able to get some new shoes and got a great running hoodie for the cooler weather.

We were in the store so long that my mom came in looking for us, wondering what happened.

I also got some new shoes at a shoe store and then splurged on some things from Harry and David.  Tis the season for peppermint and they had a bunch of stuff out!  Including some dark chocolate peppermint coffee which I enjoyed this morning.  It was lovely!

I’m already planning a return trip so I can do some clothes shopping!

The rest of the weekend is being spent trying to get caught up on life and email.  I hope that you all had a great weekend!
