I just found your blog but now that I know you aren't going to document your daily eats, I'm definitely going to be a follower! Pictures of oatmeal and green smoothies on every food blog gets old. :) I take the same approach on my blog - it's my personal blog, but it tends to focus on food and fitness. I'm excited to see what you'll do with your new blog route! :)

I am here to stay! I am very compartmentalized as well, so I can relate to how you feel about wanting to separate your posts. While I enjoy most daily eats posts (because I need ideas sometimes!), I love "discussion-provoking" posts, and think this sounds like a great direction!

Looking forward to whatever you've got for us :)

i agree with mama pea as well - the consistent food posts can get really repetitive, and sometimes makes me loose my passion for blogging. I'm so excited about hte new direction of your blog. I think you are an amazing person and I cant wait to read more =)

This change sounds awesome. Honestly, I have a hard time picking up all the life bits between the food, and commenting on everything. I try to keep my posts to one (or two) topics because I have such a hard time remembering everything I read on other blogs posts that are jam-packed!

I hope that didn't come off mean. I just... know what you are saying :) I would love to read your "big discussion" posts.

And, whatever you do, I will still be reading it! :)

I love reading about you and all of your discussion topics. Yes, your smoothies and salads and pizza are always entirely wonderful to look at, but I agree, you do eat the same things on a regular basis, which is TOTALLY awesome, but if you are getting bored with posting these things, than it's really just creating more work for you than is necessary. This blog should be about what you are passionate about. You obviously have such a strong voice and heavy influence with your words and insight. I say, GO FOR IT! We are all behind you! :)

I completely agree with Mama P. I read your blog because of you, and I know this sounds sappy, but I really don't care what you write about because I'm reading to see your voice and your life (food, working out, wine - those are all parts of that). So I guess this is my way of saying - rock the new idea. I think it will be great.

Mama to the P, you are right that is a true sign of friendship if there ever was one. <img src='/images/biggrin.gif' alt=':D' /> I appreciate your honesty and you are not the first person to tell me that you skip over the food part. Ha! And if I'm being honest, I do that with food blogs a lot. However when you post a recipe I do make a point to read it because it's vegan and vegan recipes interest me.
