I started the winter off without them on but lately it has been cold for days. Its so dry here that the snow became VERY slippery so I put the Yak's on my shoes and low and behold, no more slipping. Now I admit in my running career I've blown through about 4 pairs of these so I personally don't find them that durable.... But, I am quite fond of them this year. I also laugh because my honey can see my footprints for days on end... he saw were I walked the dog after work because I left them on my runners! Next time I blow through the yak's I'm going to try something called stabilicers. I’m now running to and from work each day.
