I actually lose weight when I have my period, and only get bloated when I eat a lot of processed stuff, like you. Since I have been working out and eating healthy, my periods have been so nice and light (still regular, but less days). I love it.

I hate that people think you only drink to get drunk! That is actually what pushes me away from it!

It is my personal belief that you can eat anything in a taco shell!

I do deal with it monthly, about 5 pounds or so sometimes, just a guess. I never weigh myself, but just judging from how my clothes fit, etc. The week following my period is when I'm at my thinnest (and sweetest), love it ;)

I can definitely relate. Every single month, like clockwork, during the time when I ovulate, I am ALwaYS 2-3 pounds heavier. It usually lasts for a few days and then it goes back down. Since it happens on the exact same days each month, I totally attribute this to my cycle. No big deal, I know that I am still healthy and not gaining any unhealthy weight. I am sure that your 3 lb. increase is simply due to excess water retention. Bottom line, we fluctuate. There is no SET IN STONE number that doesn't move a pound or two from day to day. Every day is different and our bodies react and feel different each day, so naturally our weight will reflect this. You have nothing to worry about. You are healthy, happy, and very active. That is all that matters! :)
