Well,thankfully, for me college was only a few years ago, but I do remember the days of AOL and Im’s like it was yesterday. I know that doesn’t seem very archaic, but that’s all i got! :)

So I love that your priorities are in line with Planned Pizza nights. We do the same with Wednesday night BFD. If something comes up on a Wednesday night and forces us to miss our BFD, I make sure to replace it on another night of the week. It would be a tragedy to miss this entirely! :)

I can remember typing papers in college on my electric typewriter. If I had to type late at night (and I always seemed to have to do that) I would put it on top of a bath towel to keep it quiet so my roommate could sleep.

Siplats are great! I predict you will quickly move from Silpat to Silpats. I keep mine rolled up to store and have not had any issues.

Wow, we’re old, huh. I remember setting up my first email account as a college sophomore and LIVING in the computer lab! I didn’t get a cell until grad school. I had to TYPE my college applications on a TYPEWRITER. I fart dust.

You had me panicked for a moment, thinking I’d missed Pizza Thursday! I have a few years on you but your reminiscences about our low-tech past were funny and very familiar. I can still recall typing up my (ahem, high school) papers on an actual electric typewriter!
