August 13th, 2009: Paaar-tay!

Can I get a what, what!! And shake it! :D

Listen friends, I am so glad that tomorrow is a rest day because MT conditioning kicked my behind today.  Lots of leg stuff, wall squats, jump squats, and all that happy fun stuff.  Good thing I don’t have to run!

After a quick walk with Rocks and a shower, it was time for PIZZA!!  You love it!

Pizza

His n’ Hers style today!

Andrea’s Half:

  • Spinach and sundried tomato pesto base
  • Shredded cheese
  • Shredded carrot and zucchini
  • Red onion
  • Banana peppers
  • Chili Garlic hot sauce (I totally did!)

Scott’s Half:

  • Tomato sauce base
  • Shredded cheese
  • Shredded carrot and zucchini
  • Spicy chicken Italian sausage (from Whole Foods)
  • Mushrooms
  • Red onion
  • Buffalo sauce

Pizza

On a whole wheat crust that yours truly made.  Oh yeah!  I guess my pesto isn’t technically a pesto since there’s no parm or nuts in it.  When I make it as an actual pesto and not a base for pizza, I do put cheese in it but still no nuts.  Love it!

I had two and half slices while kicking it on the couch.  Now I’m off for my glass of wine and perhaps an old movie?  Catch you Friday lovies!
