Hi guys!  I thought I was tired yesterday, that’s nothing compared to today!  I am wiped out. :D Let me show you some snacks!

Crispy gala apple

First there was an apple.  I was still feeling a bit empty from my dinner.  It wasn’t quite as filling as I hoped it would be because there wasn’t much noodles left.  My mistake, I should have looked it over closer!

Crunchy salty chips

Last night while Scott recapped his evening, we munched on some chips.  I only had a few but I needed something crunchy delicious and these fit the bill.  Of course they were Kettle Brand!

The movie I watched was 10 Things I Hate About You.  Lord I love that movie.  There are not many “chick flicks” I like (I don’t watch many either) and 10 Things is one of the rare few that I adore.  Love it!  I finished the movie just as Scott and Lorelle got back home.

Today!  Scott and I got up at darkthirty this morning to get ready for Wordcamp.  I started off with just a mug of coffee to get the blood and brain flowing.

Scott left to take Lorelle up to the conference early and I jumped in the shower and got ready for the day.  I had such a cute outfit day, I was so excited.  I should have taken a picture but I was rushing around so much I didn’t even think about it!  After my shower, I made breakfast and packed backup food for the conference in case the offerings weren’t Andrea friendly.

Breakfast was on the go this morning and we had bumped up smoothies!

  • 2C OJ
  • 1C Water
  • Huge bunch of kale
  • 2 carrots
  • Frozen pineapple
  • Frozen mango
  • Frozen peaches
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1/4C 2% Fage
  • 1TBSP ground flax

It was a little gritty but it did the trick making for a great portable and quick breakfast.  Although it didn’t hold me over for long.  I think around 11:30ish I needed a snack.  Time to bust out the backup food!

Odwalla Choco-walla bar

I brought a ton of bars with me to have a choice if I needed it.  I ate the Odwalla Choco-Walla bar and it was so yummy!  I love these bars!  They can be a bit dry but the flavor is spot on and they are so filling.  Picture taken at home before the conference. ;)

The conference was made up of different speakers presenting on a variety of topics.  Many issues were covered like social media, power blogging, and legal issues just to name a few.  People representing Automattic were there along with some local WordPress developers and supporters.

There was a catered lunch which was lunch boxes containing a basic sandwich style lunch.  There was a veggie option which was a veggie sub but admittedly the selection wasn’t great.  A veggie sub on a white roll, chips, cookies, and a small apple.  I passed and just ate the PB sandwich on 12grain bread that I brought with me. :D  No picture because I didn’t have time this morning as I was rush, rush, rushing around.

After the conference was all said and done, it was after 5pm.  I was totally zombiefied by this point.  Scott and I came home to feed Rocky and let him out for a potty run.  Then Scott left to go hang with some WordPress peeps and I stayed home because I was just too tired to be social.  I took Rocky for a quick walk then it was back home to a bath and my jammies.  Hooray!

After that I got started on my dinner for the evening.  First there was a salad starter:

Mixed greens salad

  • Spinach
  • Mixed greens
  • Carrot
  • Cucumber
  • Raisins
  • Sunflower and pumpkin seeds
  • Crushed croutons

Topped wtih Newman’s, my new super dressing at the moment. I was very much in need of some fresh raw veggies and this hit the spot nicely.  I should have put more in but I was too hungry to fiddle around in the kitchen for too long.  I inhaled my salad.  I talked to my mom briefly and I got my post for today started.

Then I made some fish!  Mmmm!

Tilapia with roasted asparagus

I think this is tilapia but am not positive.  It was free roaming fish I found in the upstairs freezer. :p  I also had some roasted asparagus on the side to go with it.  More veggies, whee!  I inhaled all of this as well.  I need to make up calories today!  I just had that smoothie and PB sammy, not enough for my bod.  I’ll probably end up having a snacky later and more wine.  It’s me and Rocks again chilling at the casa and the couch is calling my name!

P.S. Sorry these posts are so lackluster lately!  By the end of the day, I’m so zonked that my witty humor tank is toast.  Back to normal soon guys, I promise. :D
