May 9th, 2009: Dinner

Hi guys!  We didn’t grill out last night.  It got cold, cloudy, and super windy in the evening.  So weird!  We sat around on the couch and played some Lego Batman.  No, we haven’t finished all the ins and outs of this game yet. :p  Then I started getting hungry so it was time to think about dinner.

I had some avocados that needed used up, so I made a quick guacamole.  I had that with four FoodShouldTasteGood multigrain chips.  This are my favorite of the brand so far.  Love them!

Dinner was majorly easy, leftovers and some fish.

1/2 the fish fillet

1/2 the fish fillet

I baked some orange roughy and topped it with a mixture of:

  • Teriyaki sauce
  • Spicy mustard
  • Honey
  • Chili powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Red pepper flakes

Baked at 400 until flaky.  Yum!  On the side was heated up leftover sauteed cabbage + veggies.  After dinner we watched the start of the Pens game and I only made it through the first period because I was passing out.  I started getting super sleepy around 9pm but somehow managed to stay up till 10pm.  By then I was a zombie and crashed hard in bed.

Not a terribly exciting evening and since it was late, that’s why I didn’t get it posted till now. :D

For some extra fluff, check out my buns!

My two buns

We have three bunnies who visit the bird feeder, but we’ve only been able to get a shot of two of them at the same time. Forgive the flower bed in need of mulch.  Yard work is not high on our list of priorities much to our neighbor’s frustration I’m sure.

Wha's up

One thing that cracks me up is when they start lounging around the crib.  Bunnies are hilarious!  Chilled out bun.  He’s totally waiting for a Carrotini.  Love my buns!

And yes, before letting Rocky outside, we check to make sure all buns are secure. :D
