March 12th, 2009: Dinner

Hi guys!  Before MT class tonight, I had a wee snack of some yogurt.  Mmm I love my yogurt time. :D

hooray, yogurt

hooray, yogurt

2% fage with some chocolate Bear Naked, and some cranberries.  Chocolate and cranberry, best combo ever!

Whoa but conditioning class was h-a-r-d tonight.  Whew!  We did a basic warmup with jump rope, squat thrusts (some people call them burpees), lunges, pushups, situps and all that good stuff.  Then it was time for bag work.  We each had a bag on the ground we had to strattle and punch for 30 seconds, then run over to a hanging back and right round kick for 30 seconds.  Back to the bag on the floor, punch for 30 seconds, back to the hanging bag, left rounds for 30 seconds.  So that’s a two minute nonstop drill that we did TWICE.  Yeah, rough.  Great workout though!

And I will tell you right now all I was thinking about was getting some carbs with…

Pizza Thursday!!!

Pizza Thursday!!!

Pizza Thursday!  You love it. :)  His & Her’s tonight.  On the right is Scott’s pizza, WF crust, pizza sauce (that I made), cheese, spicy Italian sausage and mushrooms.  Mine is WF crust, spinach pesto, cheese, chopped asparagus leftover from last night, and some roasted garlic chicken sausage.  So freaking good!  I got to thinking about how if we get actual pizza from WF and not just the dough, I always opt for their pesto pizzas because I don’t care for their pizza sauce (too sweet).  And then I realized I should make my own!  I had spinach that needed used up so I made a spinach and sun-dried tomato pesto with parm cheese, but not a ton since I was adding cheese on top of the pizza.

I started off with three slices and split a Boston Ale with Scott (he had more).  And I’ll say we don’t eat the crust of our pizzas, we save that for “treats” for Rocks for a few days.  Then because I wasn’t done carbing it up.

I went back for more!  That’s another piece I’m bringing to Scott, I didn’t eat that.  Of my slices, I ate that triangle piece and then two bites of the rectangle piece.  I am totally satisfied!  I didn’t over do it and the pizza isn’t sitting heavy in the tum.  Awesome dinner!

Now it’s time to chill for a bit with my boys.  See you tomorrow!

One more sleeps till birthday time! :swingdance:
