February 5th, 2009: Lunch and Dinner

Hi bloggies!  My hairs are all pretty now and I got to pass out another business card!  Everyone wave to my stylist, Hi Jaime! :D  Before leaving for my appointment, I had a wee snack so I wouldn’t be hungry during my appointment.

A true delights granola bar and some dried apricots.

After getting done at the salon we made a quick trip to a local store called The Anderson’s to pick up some treats for the Rockster and a few other items.  Then it was on to WF!  For a super quick trip because time was getting late.  I picked up 5 tubs of 2% fage.  Hell yes!  And check out some of my other scores (this is combined goods from WF and The Anderson’s).

Starting from left to right we have:

  • What WF is calling Parisian Macaroons (one is chocolate lavender and the other pistachio)
  • Whipped Cottage Cheese (Must tell Bender!)
  • Big hunk of Swiss cheese
  • Fig balsamic vinegar (big splurge)
  • A WF oatmeal cream pie (For Scotty-poo)
  • Homemade malt balls(!!!)

I am very excited about the malt balls! Woo!  While out I picked up some Sabra hummus in roasted red pep and then a super spicy one.  I pulled that out for some lunchie.

Yum!

I had some WF chicken tortilla soup and carrots + cuc + spicy hummus on the side.  I added some garlic powder, a little extra red pepper flakes, and some cayenne for some extra kick.  This is awesome!  The roasted red pep was my fav before but this spicy may take tops now.

After I inhaled lunch, I ran Rocky out for a quick walk and then got him fed supper.  I posted the winners for the contest.  And then I made a quick dough and by that time it was already time to get ready for MT. Whew!  We were a little late but did make it to conditioning class.  We kicked butt (I was able to do 25 and 26 round kicks in 30 seconds.  Go me!) and then it was back home for:

Oh yeah!  You know what day it is!  I made the dough today.  Whee!  I also did my trick of grating a carrot and a zucchini and sprinkling that on top of the sauce and under the cheese, for some extra veggie punch.

If you do this, make sure to put them on a towel first to wring out some of the juice.  Carrots and zucs have a lot!

Pizza Pizza

Pizza Pizza

I bought some “real” mozz today and used that instead of the pre-shredded stuff.  The crust is made with WW pastry flour and has ground flax in it for a little extra boots.

My side is the one that is not loaded down with sausage. :p Although I do have a sprinkling of it.  There is also green peppers, red onion, and banana peppers.  And I may or may not have drizzled the pizza with buffalo sauce as well. ;)

I had two wee slices with a glass of red.  Then I went back in for another half slice.  So good!  The crust was perfect so I should be able to post about it soon.  We watched some Antiques Roadshow while eating.  :D

Expect more wine and some maltballs in my future!
