December 9th, 2008: Lunch and dinner

CS

CS

Hi guys! I checked outside and it wasn’t raining. Then I checked the temps and it was 45 degrees! :o Holy cow that’s warm for December. I only had to wear one pair of pants and no YakTrax. Hooray! I busted out my 3.5 mile run and clocked in at 41 minutes. That is my best time ever! However, I was burning up. I probably could have gone without my jacket and hat, that’s how warm and humid it was. When I came back Scott was talking with the roof guy who told us our roof was a bit damaged and to contact our insurance company about a new one. They foot the bill and we only pay the deductible. Sounds too good to be true so I’m very skeptical.

I slammed my CS and had two glasses! Then as I was about to take Rocky out for his walk it started raining. Booo! I showered and did some work, totally blowing off the Wii Yoga. I meant to do some and then got sidetracked and never went back to it. I’m bad.

I started getting hungry and decided lunch was in order. I heated up an Amy’s enchiladas meal, with veggies and black beans. With 2 oranges and some Kashi crackers + salsa on the side. I had 1 orange, 5 crackers with salsa, and 1 enchilada. I went in for another quarter piece but was just too full. They are great but very filling and heavy to me, so I could only eat one. Good to know though if I need to stretch out a meal.

After lunch was more work and then it was time to get ready for MT. I munched on these while I read a bit.

1/2 a gingerbread Clif bar which was awesome! The best flavor so far of the seasonal ones, I loved it! And a small plate of 1 date, 3 apricots, and some PB Puffins. YUM!

There was only three of us in class today. :o We worked on footwork and some front kick things. By the time we were headed home I was starving! And it was still raining which meant no walk for Rocks. Poor Rocky, no walks today.

Easy dinner

Easy dinner

Dinner was easy peasy, leftovers. Some days I am so grateful for leftovers! I know that looks like a mound of mashed potatoes but I promise it’s only like 1/3 cup. :p I ate all of that, all of my veggies, and 1/2 of my half of chicken, the rest I gave to Scott.

Now I’m off to read more while Scott does trash and try to start unwinding. The characters have gotten past the annoying stage so the book is much more enjoyable now.

Booty Buster Total for today:

3.5 mile run = 3.5 pts

1 hour of MT = 4 pts. for cardio

Total = 7.5 pts for the day. :D

P.S. Because I’ve had multiple folks ask me about abbreviations, I’ll explain! I like to use them because they make my life easier when I’m typing things out. I wanted an easy way to incorporate them in my posts and so my husband created a plugin for WordPress, called Text Hover (You can find more of his work here). If I type something like MT, SF, WF or so on, these things should be underlined. And if you put your cursor over them the definition of the abbreviation should pop up for you. :D
