Hi guys! Sorry this post is so late! I didn’t get a chance to post before my run and then decided, well heck I might as well wait until lunch. And then after lunch came and it kept getting later and later, so now we have a full day post! :p

Not long after posting last night, I headed up to bed to read for a bit. It was going on 10pm and it was too late to start the Pens game that we taped on Monday. I read until 10:30ish or so and decided to call it a night. And I think I slept all the way until 6:45am. :o Normally I get up around 3am or 3:30 for a bathroom trip, so sleeping that long is a huge deal for me. I must have been more tired than I knew! I almost got up at that point because I felt rested and not groggy. I knew Scott would be getting up at 8am because he had a work call this morning, so I just stayed snug in bed. Around 7:45am is when I finally rolled out of bed and got the day started.

My oat pan was dirty this morning and I was too lazy to clean it, so no oats. Booo! Instead I had a toasted kashi waffle with a small smidge of dark chocolate PB and some cranberry sauce. And I had a 2% peach fage plus coffee and creamer. The coffee was awesome this morning! Loved it! My breakfast was also yummy and very filling.

I surfed for a bit and decided it was time to get moving on my run. It was raining, the kind that’s a more misty drizzle than actual rain drops, so I decided to suck it up and run. The rain will not kill me or make me melt. I ran in the rain and busted ass! Had a better time than yesterday, clocking in at 40 minutes and kept my HR up the entire time, in the 170s. Woo! I did the 3.5 mile run and I am so loving this run right now.

Came home and drank a big glass of CS. It started raining harder so Rocky’s walk was going to have to wait. I showered and then busted out 23 minutes on the Wii Fit. I’m not sure how to count that because I did stretching and strength, perhaps .5 point for 15 minutes?

I then had a small bowl of frozen grapes because I was a tad hungry and also wanted to bump up my fluid intake. While I snacked on those, I looked around at some stuff and did a bit of work. Then it was finally time to get started on lunch, which I had planned out since yesterday!

I’m calling it Holiday Egg Mess. :D It’s 2 eggs + a bunch of egg whites (I don’t know how much, I just dumped in what was left in the carton) scrambled with some spinach and chopped tomato. Then topped with a bit of shredded cheddar. Yum! Had 1.5 slices of health nut bread with a little bit of butter on the side along with an orange. It was a very yummy and satisfying lunch.

After cleanup, it was finally done raining so I took Rocky out for his walk. It was really cold though! Colder than when I was out for my run. And much more windy. We did about a mile walk.

While we were gone, Scott made some decaf coffee, so I had that with some peppermint creamer. I drank maybe half the mug and I did not eat the peppermint square pictured. I thought about it, but didn’t really want it so it sits untouched. I don’t know if it was the coffee or the heat of the office (we have a space heater in here) but I started feeling icky and a little light headed. I stopped working, grabbed my book and hit the couch until it was time for me to get started on dinner. I wasn’t all that hungry and was trying to figure out what to make since today is a veggie day. Finally I settled on the same thing we had last week.

I made rice and beans and on the side was some sweet potato fries. The rice and beans had a little cheese on top. Nice easy dinner. I only had a wee bit on my plate and ate it all plus one of Scott’s fries. I should have done a His&Hers because his plate had so much more than mine! :p Now I’m off to set the Pens game to tape and get ready for SF class tonight. I’m also feeling much better so I think it was the heat! See you guys tomorrow. :)

3.5 mile run = 3.5 pts

23 minute stretch = .5 pts

1 mile walk w/ Rocky = 1 pt

*1.5 hour SF class = 3 pts

Total = 8 pts

SF isn’t really cardio so I’m counting it the same as if I did some yoga which I know sounds odd but despite the name not every class is super intense. If we do more involved work today that is a bit more cardio, I’ll change the points to reflect that.
