November 24th, 2008: Lunch and Dinner

Hi guys! PT was arms today and it was rough. My shoulders just did not want to cooperate and do any work. Meh. Shoulders, triceps, and biceps are what I worked today. A little bit of ab work at the end.

After PT it was time to hit up the grocery store. Regular shopping + t-day shopping. I was actually surprised that we didn’t spend as much as I thought we were going to. Partly because I got some good deals at WF. Also, just an FYI, Libby’s pumpkin at my store was like $1.49 for the small cans and WF canned pumpkin is only 99cents. Yeah, I’m sticking with the WF canned pumpkin.

Once home and stuff was put away, it was time to get down to lunch! I was starving and bought some soup at the store. As much as I love making my own soup sometimes I only want a little bit or don’t want to take the time to make my own. It happens. ;) So I look for lighter or less sodium versions of prepared soups.

Lunch was just me and Real Simple because Scott had a working lunch (i.e. eating at his desk). I had 1 C of light Italian veggie soup by Progresso, the other 1/2 of my sweet potato with a little butter and cinnamon sugar, and also one clementine.

After lunch I did some work and some laundry. I practiced some SF and I started working on getting this week more organized. It’s final countdown time to Thanksgiving! Whee!!

I was really chilly in the office and a little hungry, so I made some peppermint tea and had some nuts alongside. I cracked open a Brazil nut, pecan, walnut, hazelnut, and almond. Then Scott had to come help me. :p I ended up with another almond, and Brazil nut.

More work and more SF practice and then it was time for dinner! From the freezer, I pulled out some leftover veggie chili I made a while back. Hooray for freezing leftovers!!

I had a little bit of that with some cheddar sprinkled on top.  I had about 5 tortilla chips with my chili.  They are organic ones from Meijer that I love!  They have sesame seeds in them and have a great nutty crunch.

And bonus today, I got a package from Lindsay!  She and I decided to swap Clif bars.  She has trouble finding the different flavors of the Z bars and I can’t find the seasonal flavors of the Clif bars, so we swapped!

I am drooling over the gingerbread and cannot wait to try that one!  So I’m saving it for last!

Okay guys, off to get ready for SF class.  See you later!
