Hi guys! I actually can’t remember what time it was when I went to bed last night. It was either just before 10:30 or just before 11pm. I woke up to use the bathroom and it was only 12:15am and I was surprised by Scott coming to bed! He normally goes to bed between 2 and 3am. :o It was chilly last night, so I didn’t mind the bonus hours of extra warmth. I got up about 8ish this morning (thank you Rocks for letting me sleep that long.) and after I got Rocky fed, I was out the door. In my new shoes! Wooo! I did my now regular route and even though I didn’t push myself too hard I did make sure to keep my HR up in the 160s instead of letting it drift back down to the mid 150s. It was a chilly morning but the sun was starting to warm things up a bit while I was out.
I had my glass of CS and then I had a little bit more because I was thirsty this morning. I grabbed Rocks and we were out the door for the Sunday long walk. It’s only an extra 15 minutes added onto our normal 30 minute walk but it’s actually quite a good distance added on, probably another 3/4 of a mile. It wears him out! Since it’s Sunday and we have the whole day in front of us, I make sure we both get some good exercise in. Once I get up to the point where I’m logging in a decent amount of distance on my runs, I will probably make Sundays my long run days.
I had just got back home with Rocky when I heard Scott get up. I think he should have slept in more, he could use the rest. I heated up some of the leftover gingerbread for us to snack on. I had that with some pumpkin spice coffee + creamer. I only ate one square plus one bite of the other square and most of my coffee. I ate that while poking around on the web. Then I showered and got all the laundry sorted for later. I tossed one load in and started our official Sunday breakfast. Since we need to go grocery shopping, it was slim pickings this morning. I have no eggs so that rules out a lot!
I had two Kashi waffles, two slices of turkey bacon, and some OJ. On the waffles is a bit of apricot all fruit. The butter in the background is for Scott’s waffles.
That didn’t fill me up, so I cut up a small gala apple. I was going to have yogurt + granola but decided I needed a fruit instead. That did the trick! After breakfast, I cleaned up the dishes and sat down to write these posts! Now I need to do some serious butt busting on getting some other things done on my to-do list. I’m starting to feel a little overwhelmed with all that I have to do. I get stuff done but I don’t feel like I’m making a dent in the list and that is starting to freak out my Type A side just a bit.
It covers all kinds of stuff from site things, to organizing around the house, to exercise things, to planning out the holidays starting with Halloween. Ahhhh! Hopefully I will get some stuff accomplished today and by the end of the day I will be in a better place.
