October 25th, 2008: Dinner AND October 26th, 2008: Morning

Hi guys! Doing two posts at one time because it just makes things easier for today. At least I think so. ;)

We moved the bedroom furniture around and it took us quite a while, only because the stuff we have is heavy and bulky. It’s back to the way we used to have it when we first moved in the house. I like this arrangement only okay. It makes the most sense to have it this way but it seems so typical, which is why I’m only okay with it. I think if I dress the room up with some shelves, candles and pictures it will spice it up and give it some more life.

That took us till about 5ish. I fed Rocky his dinner and got him out for a potty run. I was starting to get hungry myself. We were having pizza for dinner since we missed it on Thursday. I figured I could get all the toppings ready and the sauce made, then get the dishes washed so all I would have to do is assemble the pizza having minimal cleanup after dinner.

Since I was starting to get hungry, I decided to put out a little bit of munchies. On the plate is some cheddar, parrano (best cheese ever!), smoked almonds, and some frozen grapes. On the side we had a new fizzie. We picked up some green apple Italian soda from WF. I didn’t care for it straight up. It tasted like something that had aspartame in it even though it had sugar. I added some cranberry juice to it, making it a Cran-Apple Fizzie, and then it tasted so much better! I had two pieces of parrano, one piece of cheddar, 2 almonds, and some grapes (no idea how many).

As I put that out, Scott said he was cool with eating soon so I started making dinner instead of prepping it!

Pizza!

Pizza!

I was really pleased with this pizza as the crust (WW) and the sauce were homemade. Wooot! On top is spicy and mild Italian sausage, red onion, and green pepper. Mushrooms on Scott’s side.

I had two slices of pizza. Scott poured us a small bit of red to have with the pizza, probably around 2oz.

A bottle

While eating we watched some TV and set the Pens game to tape. After dinner and cleanup, Scott decided to be a bad influence and opened a bottle of wine. I had two glass of the white, about 4oz each. This wine was just fine. I was wondering if I was starting to go off white wine a bit since I didn’t care for the other wine we have. But this was good, so I think it’s just the other wine and not white wines all together.

We watched a bit of the Pens game and then at 9:30, I gave up. I went up to bed to read for about an hour or so. By 10:30 I was ready for sleep. For the first few hours I slept perfectly and then it wasn’t so great. I got up to use the bathroom and then it took me a while to fall back to sleep. Then I kept having very active dreams so it seemed like I wasn’t sleeping at all. Meh.

Rocky was up early and since I wasn’t sleeping well anyway, I just got up. Dressed for my Sunday run because I needed to run! It’s been so long!

Fed Rocky and got him out for his morning potty run. Holy cow it was cold! And windy, really windy. I knew there was no way I was going to be able to run in that. Even if I put a jacket on, I needed something for my chin area. *grumble*

First breakfast

First breakfast

I changed back into my jammies and had some breakast. Morning coffee and some 2% peach Fage. Love this yogurt! As I was eating breakfast, I started looking around for running jackets. Still looking because there’s a lot of variety.

After I was done eating breakfast I took Rocky out for his walk. I was being really negative with myself and telling myself that I should have just sucked it up and ran instead of being such a wuss about the whole thing. Then as I was walking Rocky I realized exactly how cold it was. And I was nice and layered up but it was still cold and even colder with the wind. I was going to do a longer walk since it’s Sunday but it was just a little too chilly.

I’m now back in my jammies and watching FoodTV as I blog. Now I thought I saw commericals saying that FoodTV was going to show halloween shows all weekend starting at 7am on Saturday. As I’m sitting here watching, I’m not seeing halloween shows. What’s up with that FoodTV?

Okay guys, I need to keep looking for gear and then get started on the official Sunday breakfast. See you soon!

I love Sierratradingpost.com for running gear. Some stuff is super expensive, but it goes on sale and I’ve gotten some really great deals. Good luck finding a jacket, it can be tricky.
